INVITATION TO BID FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ONE (1) UNIT HANDHELD DUAL CONSOLE PORTABLE ULTRASOUND SYSTEM
1. The National Kidney and Transplant Institute intends to apply the sum of Three Million Five Hundred Ninety Five Thousand Pesos (P 3,595,000.00) only, being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of One (1) Unit Handheld dual console portable ultrasound system. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The National Kidney and Transplant Institute now invites bids for ITB No. 10-084: Supply and Delivery of One (1) Unit Handheld dual console portable ultrasound system.
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from National Kidney and Transplant Institute and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.
5. A complete set of Eligibility Requirements and Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders starting on July 6, 2010 from the stated address and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee in the amount of P 1,600.00 for the Certificate of Supplier’s Registration and P 2,500.00 for the Bidding Documents.
6. The National Kidney and Transplant Institute will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on July 20, 2010 10:00 AM at the Claver P. Ramos Auditorium G/F NKTI Main Building East Avenue, Quezon City, which shall be open to all interested parties who have purchased the Bidding Documents.
7. The submission and Opening of the Sealed Bid Proposal shall be on August 2, 2010,10:00 AM at the Claver P. Ramos Auditorium G/F NKTI Main Building East Avenue, Quezon City. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in the Bidding Documents.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the afore – mentioned venue. Late bids shall not be accepted.
8. The National Kidney and Transplant Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
